I’m Nathaniel Lie, a product designer working at the intersection of concept, storytelling, and emerging design technology. I translate ideas into tangible products through strong design thinking, advanced visualization, and execution.
( About me )
I design products across footwear, apparel, furniture, and accessories, driven by a deep interest in the creative process itself rather than a single category. I’m most energized by the front end of the process: ideation, storytelling, and visualization, where ideas take shape and design direction is defined.
My approach blends traditional design thinking with emerging technologies such as 3D printing, VR modeling, and AI-assisted workflows. This allows me to explore concepts quickly, communicate ideas clearly, and bridge the gap between imagination and execution. I’m drawn to teams that value innovation, curiosity, and a strong creative culture.
After earning my bachelor’s degree in product design in 2023, I’ve spent time freelancing and refining where I do my best work: deep in the early creative phase of projects that lead to real, manufactured products. I’m motivated by environments where design carries purpose, experimentation is encouraged, and tangible outcomes matter.
